How to Update RFX GATEWAY Firmware

Summary: There is no manual "Update" button for the RFX GATEWAY. The device automatically downloads and installs the latest firmware whenever it connects to Wi-Fi.

The Automatic Process

You do not need to do anything to start an update.

• How it works: Every time the RFX GATEWAY powers on and successfully connects to your Wi-Fi network, it checks the cloud for new software.
• Installation: If an update is available, it downloads and installs it in the background automatically.

How to Check Your Firmware Version

If you want to check your firmware version you're on:

1. Open the ThermoWorks App.
2. Tap on your RFX GATEWAY to open the settings.
3. Tap the Device Settings tab (Gear Icon).
4. Scroll down to the Firmware section to see the current version number installed.
