ThermaQ Blue: Overview, Accuracy & Competition Use

Summary: The ThermaQ Blue is a professional 2-channel thermometer that pairs via Bluetooth® (150-ft range). Unlike our other alarms, it uses industrial Type K Thermocouples for extreme accuracy (±0.7°F), making it the gold standard for competition BBQ teams.

What Makes It Different?

While it looks similar to other alarms, the ThermaQ Blue is built for a specific audience.

• Type K Probes: Instead of consumer "Pro-Series" probes, it uses industrial Type K Thermocouples. These are interchangeable with thousands of industrial probes (high temp, needle, surface, etc.).
• Extreme Accuracy: It offers a system accuracy of ±0.7°F, significantly higher than standard thermistor alarms.
• Bluetooth Only: It does not use Wi-Fi. This eliminates connectivity headaches in open fields or parking lots where Wi-Fi is unavailable or unreliable.
