Shipping Policy: Rates, Delivery Times & International
Summary: We strive to ship every order received by 4:00 PM Mountain Time on the same business day. We offer flat-rate shipping for US orders under 5 lbs, comprehensive duty-paid options for Canada, and worldwide shipping for international customers.
When Will My Order Ship?
The 4:00 PM Cut-Off
If you place your order by 4:00 PM Mountain Time (Monday–Friday), we ship it the same day.
Exceptions: Orders placed on weekends or holidays will ship the next business day.
USA Shipping Rates (Up to 5 lbs)
We use a mix of USPS, UPS, and FedEx to get packages to you quickly.

Carriers & PO Boxes
- PO Boxes / APO Addresses: UPS and FedEx cannot deliver to PO Boxes. If you enter a PO Box, we will automatically switch your carrier to USPS.
- Specific Requests: If you need to request a specific carrier (e.g., "USPS Only"), please call us at 1-800-393-6434 to place your order over the phone.
Canadian Shipping (No Surprise Fees!)
We have streamlined shipping to Canada to remove the headache of customs.
- Standard Canada (Starting at $14.95): This is our recommended method.
- Duties & Taxes: Calculated and collected at checkout. ThermoWorks pays the border agents in advance.
- Benefit: You pay $0 when the package arrives. No surprise bills at the door.
- Timeframe: Typically 4–6 business days.
- FedEx Worldwide: Available, but duties/brokerage fees will be collected on delivery (at your door), often resulting in higher total costs.
International Orders
We ship worldwide via FedEx or USPS International.
- Duties & Taxes: These are NOT included in the shipping price. The customer is responsible for paying any local taxes, duties, or brokerage fees upon receipt.
- Processing Time: Same-day shipping does not apply to international orders, as we may need to verify address details before release.
