Summary: If your device is broken, malfunctioning, or physically damaged, you can request a repair authorization (RMA). Before mailing anything in, our technical team needs to perform an evaluation to determine if the unit can be repaired.
Describe the Issue
To help us diagnose the problem accurately, please reply with details about how the damage occurred.
- Trauma/Drops: Was the unit dropped?
- Heat: Was it exposed to direct flame or extreme heat?
- Chemicals: Was it cleaned with harsh chemicals or submerged?
Note: Being specific helps us advise you correctly on the next steps to get you taken care of.
Evaluation
Upon receipt of your information:
- Assessment: Our techs will review the info to see if the damage is repairable.
- Authorization: If repairable, we will issue an RMA number and instructions on how to ship it to our Utah facility.
⚠️ Important Note on Repairability
While many ThermoWorks devices are repairable, some are not. If a unit has suffered catastrophic heat damage (melting) or water intrusion on a non-waterproof model, it may be beyond repair. We will let you know immediately if this is the case.
